Branch Manager
The successful candidate must be a highly motivated individual who has the ability and desire to do several tasks within the branch. Must possess a strong knowledge of branch operations and the ability to work with financial statements. Previous branch operations knowledge is necessary, and effective time management skills would also be an asset. The Cat Rental Store is an equal opportunity employer.
Responsibilities will include:
- Develop annual objectives for the branch, including sales and service departments; develops branch budgets.
- Ensures all authorized plans and programs are carried out by branch personnel relating to volume, profit, product mix and coverage with complete customer satisfaction as an end result.
- Ensures adequately trained staff are available at all times.
- Works with sales representatives in the field to develop maximum selling effort at optimum cost.
- Constantly appraises pricing, distribution and competitive action and policies. Suggests changes to improve branch sales volume and profit.
- Evaluates and approves estimates, quotations, bids and proposals prepared in the name of the company.
- Maintains a cooperative atmosphere between all branch personnel.
- Evaluates sales and expense budgets monthly against planned goals.
- Works closely with other company functional managers.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
