Invoicing Details

Invoices can be very confusing and at times overwhelming. With so many fields and an overload of information, the Invoice is not always so easy to understand. We breakdown our invoices to help you understand them when you recieve your invoice. Below is an example of an invoice, hover over the fields to see what each section means and what is required for each field.

Address Header:
- The Cat Rental Store location that is generating your paperwork.
Rental Contract Details:
- Contract Invoice Number
- Date & Time of Equipment pickup or shipping
- Alternate ship to address
- Job number
Customer Billing Information:
- Cat Rental Store account number(Customer #)
- Customer Billing Address
- Jobsite Location
Customer Order Details:
- Invoiced Date: Date invoice is created & sent to   customer by TCRS
- Billing Period: Number of day's   equipment is on rent   (Note: Once the rental rate reaches the next   available rate {i.e. 3 days rent = the weekly rate in this   example} your next billable rental day is after the   week has expired or the 8th rental day.
- Contract Type:
   - Quote/Reservation-Do NOT pay. This document is      a rental or sale estimate only.
   - Rental Out-Do NOT pay. Generated at beginning of      rental contract.
   - Rental Return Invoice-Please pay, this is your      billing and is the invoice generated when      equipment is returned.
   - 4 Week Invoice-Please pay. Generated for a rental      period of 4 weeks.
   - Sale Invoice-Please pay. Any product other than      equipment sales.
   - Equipment Sale Invoice-Please pay. Equipment      purchase.
- Expiration Date:
   - Quote-rental rate or sale price good thru date.
   - Rental Out-Estimated equipment return date.
Equipment Details & Rental Rates:
- QTY = Quantity of units on rent.
- EQUIPMENT# = TCRS unit number that should be on the unit you have.
- MIN = Minimum available rental rate.
- Rate per DAY.
- Rate per WEEK.
- Rate per 4 WEEKS.

Terms & Conditions:
- Rental Rates "one day = ten hours".
- Discount rate not always reflected on contract.
- Customers Responsibilities.
- Acceptance or Declination of Rental Equipment Coverage.

- Cat Rental Store representative name or CYCLE BILLING or blank.
Payment Details:
- Pay This Amount = Payable only when "CONTRACT TYPE" is INVOICE found in the customer order detail section.
- Remittance Address.
