Skid Steer Operator Safety Training
The Cat Rental Store provides the industry recommended curriculum for "Skid Steer Safety Awareness Training". This program will cover the following key components:
Classroom
- Skid Steer Loader features
- General equipment safety considerations
- Current regulations and applicable issues
- Operator responsibilities:
- Workplace inspections
- Function test procedures
- Know and avoid hazardous situations
- Pre-operation inspections procedures
- Equipment manufacturer's designated usages
Hands On
- Familiarization
- Pre-operational inspection of equipment
- One-on-one function test for safe procedure and operator competency
